Job Description:

Review Vendor quotes to ensure price and turnaround time are adequate to meet the current emergent need. Communicate with Repair Vendors on a regular basis regarding component status and action plans for components that have exceeded their expected completion date. Interact with Gateways where Unserviceable Parts were removed and monitor return to CPW in order to coordinate the Repair. Process part numbers/serial number changes. Understand and work with next higher assemblies as well as issuing internal piece parts required to complete work scope. Maintains weekly Critical Parts Report and notifies Vendors of immediate needs and works to identify urgent return of Component.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of UPS computer systems such as MIPS, ARMS, and IMPACTS, UPS Tracking and eTT.
• Knowledge or previous experience in Aircraft Materials and the Component Repair cycle.
• Understand how to follow COMAT via AMAP tool and basic understanding of Aircraft Routing.
• Understanding time in transit.
• Knowledge Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to communicate with other internal departments (Traffic Management).
• Knowledge or previous experience in Aircraft Materials and the Component Repair cycle.
