As a Human Resources Manager at SpaceX, you will be given the opportunity to partner with some of the most talented professionals in the world: executing people strategies to retain talent, coaching employees and managers on HR policies and guidelines and working to ensure the SpaceX mission is a constant reality for all employees. Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle sensitive issues and communications
  • Manage client group succession planning
  • Assist with the creation, documentation, and implementation of human resources policies, programs, and processes
  • Maintain employee files and processing HR transactions in Workday
  • Responsible for overall HR support and maintaining insight for all HR activities for multiple groups or areas
  • Uphold standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
  • Hire, develop and retain high performing direct reports
  • Operate as a key business partner to employees, managers, directors and senior leaders on workforce analytics, organizational optimization, leadership development, and other strategic initiatives
  • Counsel and provide assistance to employees and managers, guided by the company’s policies and relevant laws/regulations
  • Create opportunities to proactively support and integrate with clients
  • Work with managers and above to implement key HR recommendations and change efforts
  • Develop defined strategies that support the larger goals of the HR organization within assigned client group and inform work priorities
  • Synthesize data trends across groups to develop/test hypotheses, strategies and recommendations

Job Requirements:

  • Human resources certification or professional human resources affiliations
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Demonstrated excellence thriving in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior direct leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success at building effective relationships
  • Ability to lead with a positive attitude and approach challenges head-on

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in manufacturing, government contracting, or start-up environments
  • Experience using Greenhouse, UltiPro, and/or Workday
  • 5+ years of professional human resources experience
