We are hiring for a Research Intern who could apply Machine Learning models and AI techniques to enable new opportunities with connected and autonomous vehicles. You will be learning not only the day-to-day responsibilities of a researcher within our facility, but will be tasked with completing a project that directly supports the goals of the Nissan-Mitsubishi-Renault Alliance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Energy consumption of EVs
• Lane Level Traffic Models
• Trajectory Pattern Analysis for Driver Behavior
• Control and Decision Making for Platooning

Job Requirements:

• Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
• Strong programming skills with hands on experience in Python, JavaScript or Java
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Core Engineering disciplines (potential areas of study including core engineering, mathematics, operational research/statistics, etc…)
