Job Description:

At the Alliance Innovation Lab – Silicon Valley (AIL–SV), we bring artificial intelligence (AI) to mobility. From developing autonomous driving systems to designing life on board experiences, our researchers apply AI technology to improve mobility for everybody. We are exploring the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and robotics, including sensing, perception, mapping, prediction, planning, decision making, and control, to lay the groundwork for the future of mobility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop state-of-the-art perception algorithms
• Develop fundamental proactive planning technologies
• Test and analyze algorithms on real-world vehicles
• Engage with other Autonomous Vehicle researchers
• Develop algorithms for scene understanding and prediction

Job Requirements:

• Be self-motivated and willing to challenge yourself to develop your talents and skillsets
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
• Strong organization ability with keen attention to detail
• Currently be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

Qualification & Experience:

• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong C++ or python coding ability
