Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage tax reporting, tax provisions, and review work of Senior Tax Analysts when required
  • Ensure appropriate reporting on key tax issues to Director of Tax and Specialist Services
  • Manage tax audits and tax litigations for specific entities
  • Manage International Tax audits
  • Support Nestle tax strategy to optimize local taxes consistent with business objectives
  • Advise on tax matters in business transactions and projects
  • Manage communication / representation with tax authorities, external advisors, external auditors, and tax / business organizations
  • Keep informed about changes to tax laws, tax jurisprudence, and consider the impact on the business

Job Requirements:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation required.
  • A working knowledge of advanced accounting and reporting packages.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and facilitation) and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • A high level of comfort and demonstrated experience with technology and software, including the full Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, TaxPrep, and tax research databases. Experience with SAP and/or Power BI would be considered an asset.
  • 3 years of progressive tax experience, 1 to 2 years of industry experience an asset
  • Willingness to work together with employees across the organization to achieve shared goals.
  • A University degree in a related discipline and completion of Parts I & II of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
