Honda Employment – Brake Test Engineer

Job Description:

Foundation Brake Engineer: involves testing, research & evaluation of Foundation Brake components (brake calipers, pads, rotors, etc.) & on-vehicle, system level confirmation of performance. This job will contribute to the overall vehicle development of Honda vehicles providing corner brake system expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

• On vehicle system level confirmation of performance
• Lead meeting technical discussions with negotiation and optimum solutions
• Testing, research and evaluation of foundation brake components
• Create daily plan for objective testing including determining project resources
• Use critical thinking and sound engineering principles to make sound judgments and solve problems
• Clear, concise communication w/professional diplomacy

Qualification & Experience:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• Data Acquisition Utilization, Microsoft Office familiarization
• 0-2 years in manufacturing department
