Honda Application – Security Analyst

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible to provide information that would support Service Delivery Lead on analysis and research utilized in making decisions regarding security support, such as creation/maintenance of user roles/profiles, monitoring security support activities including email requests, tickets and change management items. This is global role and provides support across 3 regions. The Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the Global SAP security compliance with Honda corporate-level security policies and supports compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), security policy and audits.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works with Global Business Process Owners to provide information to support their security needs
• Enforces “Segregation of Duties” policies
• Supports the creation of third-party User IDs and third-party Online Service System (OSS) messages with SAP
• Aligns security team procedures to established security policies and practices
• Coordinates security team resource utilization and validates change management activities
• Reviews and analyses security tickets and data to review and propose process improvements
• User management of test and production environments utilizing auto provisioning by SAP Governance Risk & Controls (GRC) module. Assures proper system configuration for workflows and role settings
• Reviews weekly security alerts and proposes actions needed
• Supports the monitoring and validation of SAP security alignment with Corporate-level compliance requirements
• Coordinates activities to support the ITGC audit user access review and audit requests
• Responsible for the coordination of standard security team support activities and maintenance
• Implementation of a security monitoring process to assure compliance with policies

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of the security setup and how it’s linked to business processes
• Support the collection of documentation and root cause analysis skills
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• General understanding of the in-scope Functional and Technical capabilities in SAP
• Good Understanding of the global security template

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 -5 years of SAP experience
