Job Description:

You ensure you have the Best Teams and support their development. You work with talent and leadership development and structured performance management for your Store Team based on results, values and leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure H&M customer service standards are delivered in your store
  • Ensure that the maintenance in your store is managed in a cost efficient way to meet H&M standards and initiate actions accordingly
  • Actively prevent loss together with Store Team and ensure that all appropriate audit guidelines are being followed
  • Together with you Store Management Team, you ensure that scheduling maximizes conversion within the frame of the hour’s plan
  • Together with your District Team, you set the hours plan in line with the sales budget
  • Together with the District and Store team you prioritize actions that have a clear impact on selling
  • Actively participates in executing store routines and tasks including but not limited to delivery truck, garment processing, reductions and price changes
  • You regularly analyze and follow up Sales & Profit KPIs and take actions accordingly to maximize results
  • Ensure that the store execution continually meets H&M standards and follow up using the customer experience tool
  • Implement and follow up on the Store Operations Best Practices
  • Give feedback to the District Team regarding the store allocations to secure a good garment level to support the selling

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stretch, engage in repetitive motions, push, pull and carry items (mannequins, clothing, totes, torsos, etc. ) for a short distance
  • Around 5% travel required as necessary (District Meetings, Workshops, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills such as browser navigation, software interaction and data entry are needed
  • You strengthen our Company Culture by promoting feedback in our daily work and coach your Store Team to do the same.
  • Ensure health & safety, legal and security issues are being handled to H&M standards and local laws securing the employee and customer safety at all times.
  • Open availability including evenings and weekends
  • You ensure regular and clear communication to the Store team on Business Performance, Company Culture & Values, and Country/Region/District/Store goals through daily Store Meetings and weekly/monthly Leadership Meetings.
  • Ability to coach and counsel staff on performance management and progressive discipline techniques
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds
  • Oversee and manage recruitment, training, development and succession planning for your Store in line with H&M ROTD best practices
  • Ability to climb a ladder and use a step stool
  • Evaluate and manage the performance of Store team members; execute dialogues, development plans, feedback and follow-ups and take actions to improve performance and develop your team accordingly
  • High School graduate or equivalent; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ of retail management or comparable experience
  • Actively work with talent and leadership development n your Store in order to support the business needs
