Job Description:
Content Management proactively manages DMED’s portfolio/inventory globally (including all international regions) and delivers continuous and accurate programming intelligence across Disney’s producer groups (including Walt Disney Studios, Twentieth Century Studios, Searchlight, ABC Studios, ABC Signature, ABC News, Freeform, 20th Television, FX, National Geographic, and more) to the international content sales teams. In addition, the Content Management team provides support and manages the TWDC formats business which includes managing format licensing opportunities for scripted and non-scripted content.
Job Responsibilities:
- International format production support
- Acquisitions – TV Movies and Films support
- Monthly Newsletter creation
- Building out themed Programming Packages
- Special Projects/Initiatives – Research & Analysis
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with PowerPoint
- Interest in international business
- Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment, with discretion when exposed to/handling confidential information
- Strong interest in Film & TV
- Interest in media landscape & distribution
- Currently enrolled or must have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree in Business, TV/Film, Arts Management, or related
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program, concurrent to this internship
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in international business
- At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney Professional Internship
