Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiates and fosters working relationships and participates in inter-agency liaison activities and for short term/long term or broad-scope projects
  • Using and applying established and creative analytical methodologies to problems or issues relating to national security
  • Reviewing, processing, and evaluating all source intelligence planning and in-depth research and analysis at threats affecting a geographic area of responsibility and align to agency mission
  • Preparing and disseminating intelligence products that contributes and aligns national level intelligence priorities for border security
  • Understanding of the analytic standards used by the Intelligence Community partners

Job Requirements:

  • Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years (additional details below)
  • Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with Selective Service
  • CBP follows the DHS Drug-Free Workplace Plan for drug testing procedures
  • You may be required to pass a background investigation
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position

Qualification & Experience:

  • You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
